Trenching and Excavation Awareness explains the basics for trenching and excavation hazards on the jobsite.

 

Learners will discover the different protective devices required to maintain safety, and how to protect themselves in and around trenching and excavation areas.

 

Additional topics include the ability to identify different types of trenching hazards, how to control these hazards, and the role of the competent person in relation to trench safety.
